In 1925 the maiden flight of the U-12 took place at Schleißheim with Ernst Udet at the controls. In the following years the Udet-Flamingo became the standard training aircraft of the German Commercial Pilot School (Deutsche Verkehrsfliegerschule) at the Schleißheim, This airworthy replica was finished in 2004 and is now part of the Deutsches Museum - Flugwerft Schleissheim collection.

This is just my quick build for the Barnstormer challenge for Flite Fest this year. It's the Flamingo from Ernst Udet of WWI fame and WWII shame.
